JT Collective Media Marketing
JT Collective Media & PR was founded on the belief that strong brands are built through clear communication, consistent storytelling, and genuine community connection.
What began as a passion for photography and content creation has grown into a full-service creative collective supporting small businesses, hospitality brands, and local organizations throughout Westchester County and beyond.
How It Started
Founder JoAnna Tamarazzo launched JT Collective while studying Communications at Mercy University, where she focused on marketing, advertising, effective presentations, podcasting, and social media content creation. During her academic journey, she paired coursework with real-world execution—working directly with businesses, community organizations, and the university’s marketing team to turn strategy into results.
Through hands-on experience in hospitality, fitness, education, and small business environments, JoAnna saw a recurring gap:
businesses needed more than content—they needed structure, guidance, and a clear voice.
JT Collective was built to fill that gap.

Built on Community & Experience
JoAnna’s career is rooted in sales, hospitality, and community connection. She spent over seven years as a retail professional at David’s Bridal, developing strong expertise in client experience, sales, and relationship management. She later served as a New Store Opening Sales Manager at Sephora in Scarsdale, where she expanded her experience in brand growth and customer engagement.
In 2024, JoAnna transitioned into hospitality and fitness as part of a broader entrepreneurial vision while completing her Communications degree. This shift led to the creation of JT Collective Media, where her background in sales, service, and storytelling informs a strategy-driven approach to brand development.
Her hospitality experience includes working with several well-known Westchester restaurants and local businesses, including Gigante’s Restaurant & Bar, Mulino’s of Westchester, Burrata, Toscana on Main, and Tuck’d Away Bar & Grill. These experiences shaped her understanding of customer experience, storytelling, and community-driven marketing.
Toscana on Main and Tuck’d Away Bar & Grill were among the first hospitality brands to partner with JT Collective Media for social media management, photography, video, Reels, analytics, and event coverage. Today, JT Collective also collaborates with community media platforms that spotlight local businesses and entrepreneurs—ensuring brands are not only visible online, but meaningfully connected to the communities they serve.
